Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in food or feed manufacturing preferred.
• Computer literacy with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RMFG-QC Checkers and QA Analysts and manage schedules and tasks.
• Inspect incoming raw materials, finished goods, and aged feed inventory for infestation, odor, condition, and sanitation.
• Inspect delivery vessels, lightening vessels, and floating storage prior to use.
• Document and disposition nonconforming materials and inspection findings.
• Initiate fumigation and pest control for infested materials.
• Conduct warehouse inspections focusing on infestation and sanitation.
• Maintain inspection records and QA documentation.
• Suggest improvements in quality control methods and systems.
• Assist in internal audits, inspections, non-conformance resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Support the documentation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality, and Occupational Safety policies.

Are you a quality assurance professional with experience in raw material and finished goods inspection? Join our team as an RMFG-QC Supervisor and help ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and inspection standards across our operations.

What You'll Do

• Supervise RMFG-QC Checkers and QA Analysts, including work schedules and task assignments.


• Ensure proper inspection of incoming raw materials, finished goods, and aged feed inventory for infestation, odor, physical condition, and sanitation.


• Ensure delivery vessels, lightening vessels, and floating storage are properly inspected prior to use.


• Ensure nonconforming materials and inspection findings are properly documented, communicated, and given appropriate disposition.


• Initiate fumigation and pest control treatment requests for infested materials.


• Conduct warehouse inspections focusing on infestation and sanitation.


• Maintain complete and accurate inspection records and QA documentation.


• Recommend improvements in quality control methods, systems, and practices.


• Assist in internal audits, inspections, non-conformance resolution, and root cause analysis.


• Support the documentation, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).


• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality, and Occupational Safety and Health policies.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of BS Food Technology, Chemistry, or other allied sciences.


• Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in food or feed manufacturing.


• Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


• Good oral and written communication skills.


• Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
