Job summary

Empower is seeking a Retirement Representative in the Philippines to answer inbound calls about employer-sponsored retirement plans and assist participants with account navigation. You will provide retirement readiness education, run quotes, and participate in meetings and training sessions.

The role requires strong communication skills, an associate degree (or 1–2 years related experience), and willingness to work a night shift. Overtime may be required based on call volumes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field preferred; if no degree, 1–2 years of directly related experience required.
• 2–3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a financial services setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants through IVR and website navigation.
• Submit research requests and follow-up after the initial call.

• Work overtime based on call volumes.

The Retirement Representative answers incoming telephone inquiries regarding employer sponsored retirement plans from participants, employers and third-party plan specialists.

What you will do

• Answer incoming telephone inquiries including requests for general account information, concerns related to contributions and withdrawals, making changes to an account, product information and tax questions; complexity and scope of questions based on level
• Assist participants through the navigation of the automated voice response system as well as the website
• Submit requests for research and follow-up if needed after the initial callli>
• Review, comprehend and implement communication regarding plan updates and changes
• Run disbursement quotes, respond to managerial feedback, and attend meetings and training sessions
• Provide callers with education regarding retirement readiness
• Consistent adherence to work schedule and punctuality required
• Work overtime based upon call volumes li>
• May be required to make outbound calls; expectation determined by level

What you will bring

• Associate degree in business or related field preferred
• With no degree, an additional one to two years’ directly related experience is required
• With at least 2-3 year of customer service experience, preferably in a financial service-related field
• Excellent communication skills
• Willing to work on a night shift schedule
