Join our growing Retirement Services team and play a critical role in supporting retirement plan participants, beneficiaries, and clients. As a Retirement Distributions Specialist, you will be responsible for processing retirement plan distribution requests accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with plan provisions, regulatory requirements, and internal service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Process retirement plan distribution requests accurately and in accordance with established procedures and plan requirements.
Verify participant eligibility, calculate distribution amounts, and prepare required documentation.
Ensure transactions are completed within established service levels and deadlines.
Enter and maintain distribution data in company systems with a high degree of accuracy.
Review forms, beneficiary information, tax elections, and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and compliance.
Update participant records and account information to accurately reflect distribution activity.
Review transactions for adherence to plan provisions, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Process tax withholding elections and ensure accurate reporting of distributions for tax purposes.
Perform quality checks and self-audits to identify and correct discrepancies before processing is finalized.
Maintain complete and accurate records for audit, reporting, and compliance purposes.
Respond to participant, beneficiary, and client inquiries via email regarding distribution requests and transaction status.
Provide timely, professional, and courteous support while helping resolve issues and documentation requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless participant experience.
Manage distribution queues and prioritize workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
Monitor pending transactions and proactively identify potential issues or processing delays.
Work closely with team members and leadership to improve processes and service delivery.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of work experience in a business related field. Retirement plan administration, financial services, benefits administration, business operations, or a related field is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Strong written and verbal customer service skills
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and follow tasks through to completion
Desire and willingness to serve clients and be empathetic to their needs
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to learn quickly with strong problem-solving skills
Detail oriented and dependable
Amenable to work on night shift schedule.
