Job summary

Empower is seeking a Retirement Service and Support Specialist in Manila to assist retirement plan participants, financial advisors, and sales reps via calls and email. You will support asset movement, rollover transactions, and provide guidance on retirement products and distributions.

The role emphasizes accurate processing, customer-centric communication, and collaboration with Retirement Consultation Team, with overnight hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• At least 2 years in defined contribution recordkeeping or retirement plan administration.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations within corporate timelines.
• FINRA fingerprinting required.
• Working knowledge of IRAs, retirement plans, and related services.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication; fluent in English.
• Ability to work overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales reps and customers with asset movement and rollover transactions.
• Review rollover requests for plan provisions and IRS requirements.
• Profile customers to deepen relationships and hand off to other teams.
• Respond to operational inquiries by phone and email.
• Provide accurate info on retirement products and account activity.
• Process trade requests and coordinate with back-office teams.
• Deliver personalized service with active listening and empathy.
• Educate participants about distribution options.
• Explain tax implications of retirement distributions.
• Deliver solutions while handling high volume of service requests.
