Job summary

SONAK CORPORATION is seeking an experienced Retail Training Specialist to design and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development in our stores.

You will deliver in-store training sessions, evaluate program effectiveness, and collaborate with Retail Operations and HR to ensure alignment with brand standards and sales goals, while maintaining up-to-date learning materials and coaching staff post-training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or related field.
• 3–5 years retail training or learning and development experience, preferably in sportswear or fashion.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, sales processes, and customer service excellence.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and coach employees at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Leadership and coaching experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive retail training programs for new hires, ongoing employee development, and management training.
• Deliver training sessions in-store.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements to programs, materials, and delivery methods.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations and HR teams to align training programs with business goals and brand standards.
• Maintain and update training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules to reflect latest product knowledge, sales techniques, and brand messaging.
• Monitor staff performance post-training and provide coaching or refresher programs as needed.
• Support onboarding of new stores and staff during store openings and relocations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities to enhance training initiatives.
