Job summary

mr-diy-philippines is seeking an experienced retail supervisor to drive sales and oversee daily store operations at the Maragusan, Davao De Oro location. The role requires leadership in staffing, merchandising, and customer service, with a focus on compliance and safe store practices.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years in retail, with supervisory experience. Fluency in Filipino and English is required; willingness to work on site is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in any field is required.
• Languages: Filipino and English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Retail industry.
• Preferably Supervisor/5+ years of experience in Sales - Retail or equivalent.
• Amenable to work in Maragusan, Davao De Oro.

Responsibilities

• Drive the store's sales growth and achievement.
• Set up gondolas and merchandise displays.
• Ensure daily store operations run smoothly.
• Maintain a tidy and clean store environment.
• Organize and arrange merchandise in the selling area.
• Greet and serve customers.
• Comply with legal requirements to protect store reputation.
• Recruit, select, train, coach, and discipline staff; monitor performance.
• Provide guidance for effective store operations.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for employees and customers.
• Handle daily bank-in of store sales.
• Stock and order items as needed.
• Prepare, update and report sales, staffing, assignments to HQ and superiors.
• Send documentation to HQ/Superior.
• Work within established SOPs and guidelines.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Asst Branch Manager/Branch Manager.
