Job summary

Landers is seeking an Learning and Development Officer to manage functional training programs for retail staff, develop training modules, and facilitate sessions. The role collaborates with SMEs, store managers, and HR to ensure programs meet business goals.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in L&D within retail, strong instructional design, and excellent presentation skills. Experience with e-learning tools like Canva, CapCut, and Vyond is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Human Resources, or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in Learning and Development, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong instructional design skills with experience in module creation.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in e-learning tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Vyond) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Training Program Management: Design, deliver, and assess functional training programs for retail staff, including onboarding, product knowledge, customer service, and operational excellence
• Module Development: Create engaging, retail-focused training materials, including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, and participant workbooks
• Facilitation: Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party training providers to source and manage external training solutions as needed
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with SMEs, store managers, and HR to identify training needs and ensure program relevance
• Training Assessment: Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and ongoing performance metrics
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on retail industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training content and delivery methods
