Makro Philippines is seeking a Section Manager - Human Resources to oversee day-to-day HR operations across store and support offices. You will lead talent acquisition, employee relations, labor compliance, performance management, employee engagement, and HR administration, partnering with department heads to address manpower needs.

The role requires 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, business administration or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in retail or multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, labor compliance, performance management, and HR operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end HR functions for store and support office employees.
• Ensure proper implementation of HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Drive HR initiatives aligned with retail business needs.
• Partner with department heads to address manpower and workforce concerns.
• Lead recruitment activities to fulfill manpower requirements.
• Monitor and improve recruitment metrics and onboarding experience.
• Handle employee concerns, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
• Ensure due process and labor compliance with government agencies.
• Drive performance appraisal programs and manage performance issues.
• Lead employee engagement programs and culture-building initiatives.
• Prepare HR metrics and manage employee records and HR databases.
