Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven customer service experience, preferably in a retail or call centre environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong listening and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple calls or interactions with composure.
• Proficiency in using computer systems, CRM platforms, and MS Office applications.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help customers resolve their issues.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including potential shifts and weekend availability.
• Reliable and punctual with strong attendance and commitment to the role.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, products, and technologies.
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer support roles would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner
• Provide accurate information about retail products, services, and promotions
• Process orders, returns, and other transactions accurately and securely
• Document all customer interactions and transactions in the system with precision
• Identify and elevate complex issues to supervisors or specialised teams when necessary
• Maintain a positive attitude whilst managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously
• Meet performance targets including call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, and quality metrics
• Actively participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to team goals and support colleagues to deliver exceptional service
