• A Retail Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with product selection, providing detailed information as needed.
• Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and elevate to the supervisor if necessary.
• Sales and Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately using a point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Promote special offers, discounts, and loyalty programs.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Stock Management: Replenish shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly and according to company guidelines.
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory management.
• Receive, unpack, and store deliveries appropriately.
• Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean, tidy, and organized at all times.
• Ensure displays are visually appealing and regularly updated.
• Follow health and safety guidelines within the store.

Education

Experience
