Job Description

• A Retail Assistant provides customer service and support in a retail environment. Their responsibilities include assisting customers, managing stock, handling transactions, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
• Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance with their queries.
• Help customers locate products and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
• Process sales transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain product displays, ensuring they are neat, organized, and fully stocked.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damaged goods to management.
• Assist in restocking shelves and arranging merchandise.
• Handle customer returns, exchanges, and complaints with professionalism.
• Ensure store cleanliness, including tidying up aisles and the checkout area.
• Support with store promotions and sales campaigns.
