Job summary

Nauts and Vectors Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant (Retail) to support our Finance team with daily accounting operations, focusing on reconciling POS transactions and retail sales, processing financial records, and assisting with month-end activities to ensure timely reporting.

The ideal candidate is a college graduate with experience in retail accounting, proficient in Excel, with familiarity in POS systems and Oracle NetSuite an advantage, and able to work independently while

Qualifications

College degree or equivalent; accounting/finance preferred.
Experience with POS systems and accounting software; NetSuite advantage.
Retail accounting experience is a plus.
Proficient in Excel and data entry.

Responsibilities

Reconcile daily sales data from POS systems with records.
Process and record daily transactions accurately and efficiently.
Match sales receipts and monitor cash and card settlements.
Process refunds and ensure proper recording.
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports and support month-end closing.
Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents.
Assist the Finance team with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
