Jafar's Wrap Rice and Salad is seeking a Restaurant Systems Specialist to monitor day-to-day operations across branches and ensure SOPs are followed. You will review reports, identify gaps, and work with managers to implement improvements.

A hands-on role requires readiness for fieldwork and strong Excel/Sheets skills. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in a related field with 1–2 years in restaurant operations, familiar with POS and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 1–2 years in restaurant operations, supervisory, audit, or operations support roles.
• Knowledge of POS, inventory, ordering, and production systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular branch visits and operational checks for compliance.

• Monitor SOPs and operational systems across branches.
• Identify issues and propose practical improvements.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Managers to address concerns.

About the role

The Restaurant Systems Specialist is responsible for supporting and monitoring the day-to-day operations of the company's restaurant branches. The role focuses on ensuring that operational systems, procedures, standards, and controls are properly implemented and consistently followed.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular branch visits and operational checks to monitor compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Observe and assess actual restaurant operations, including service, food preparation, cleanliness, inventory handling, cash handling, and overall branch workflow.
• Monitor whether established SOPs and operational systems are properly followed by branch employees.
• Identify operational issues, gaps, and inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
• Work closely with Restaurant Managers and branch teams in addressing operational concerns.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring new operational systems, procedures, and company initiatives across branches.
• Check the proper use and implementation of POS, inventory, ordering, production, and other restaurant systems.
• Review branch reports and records to identify discrepancies, recurring issues, or areas requiring attention.
• Assist Restaurant Managers in improving daily operations, manpower utilization, workflow, and service efficiency.
• Prepare reports on branch visits, findings, action plans, and operational improvements.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in restaurant operations, preferably in a supervisory, audit, training, or operations support role.
• Strong understanding of restaurant day-to-day operations.
• Experience in food service or multi-branch restaurant operations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of POS, inventory, ordering, production, and other restaurant systems is a plus.
• Strong observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to be hands‑on and regularly assigned to different branches.
• Willing to conduct fieldwork and branch visits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Google Sheets.
