Job summary

Rufer International LLC seeks an experienced Store Supervisor to lead daily operations for a new healthy foods concept in Zamboanga City. You will open/close the store, manage cash, stock, and quality, and report to the owners. You will train staff and run the store in their absence.

We value honesty, organization, and calm leadership, offering personal training by the owners and real responsibility from day one. Applicants must be local with reliable transport to Baliwasan.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in F&B (café, milk tea, fast food, restaurant) including at least 1 year as shift leader / supervisor / store in-charge.
• Proven cash-handling and stock experience; comfortable with POS reports and Google Sheets.
• Can write clear daily reports in English; speaks Filipino/Chavacano with the team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Open the store, check cleanliness, stock and equipment before opening.
• Run the shift: assign stations, control speed, and quality during peak.
• Ensure every bowl, shake and juice follows the recipe book exactly—portions, toppings, presentation.
• Count cash drawer and deposit cash to the bank as instructed; no cash left overnight.

ABOUT US

We are a new healthy food concept opening soon in Zamboanga City — a modern 2-story store serving fresh bowls, smoothies, juices and coffee, takeaway style. The brand name will be announced at opening; applicants who join the team will be the first to know.

We are a small opening team of 5. The owners are based abroad and come to Zamboanga every 2 months to train the team and work alongside you. Between visits, the store is run by the Store Supervisor and the team, with daily online reporting to the owners. That means: we hire people we can trust, we pay above minimum wage, and everyone gets real responsibility from day one.

Working schedule: 6 days per week, one long shift with staggered start times (approx. 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM), 1 fixed day off per week. Weekends and holidays are working days in F&B.

THE ROLE — READ THIS CAREFULLY

This is not a normal supervisor job. The owners are not in the store most of the time. You are the person in charge of the store day to day: opening, closing, cash, stock, team, quality and reporting. You will be trained personally by the owners and then trusted to run the store between their visits. We are looking for someone honest, organized and calm who wants that responsibility.

WHAT YOU WILL DO EVERY DAY

• Open the store (or hand over to the Senior Barista on your day off), check cleanliness, stock and equipment before opening
• Run the shift: assign stations, control speed and quality during peak, jump in on the bar or counter when needed
• Make sure every bowl, shake and juice follows the recipe book exactly — portions, toppings, presentation
• Count the cash drawer with the closing crew; deposit cash to the bank as instructed; no cash stays in the store overnight
• Send the daily report to the owners via WhatsApp/Google Sheets: sales from POS, cash deposit slip photo, waste, staff attendance, problems
• Count stock daily (frozen goods, fruit, dairy, cups, packaging) and order from suppliers before we run out — never after
• Receive deliveries: check quantity, quality, temperature, invoice; reject bad items
• Do the weekly inventory and send it every Sunday
• Handle customer complaints on the spot and log them
• Train new crew using our recipe and cleaning checklists; coach the team on standards
• Keep the store ready for City Health, BIR and Barangay inspections at any time

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• At least 2 years in F&B (café, milk tea, fast food, restaurant) including at least 1 year as shift leader / supervisor / store in-charge
• Proven cash-handling and stock experience; comfortable with POS reports and Google Sheets
• Can write clear daily reports in English; speaks Filipino/Chavacano with the team and customers
• Honest and clean track record — we verify references and clearances
• Lives in or near Zamboanga City with reliable daily transport to the Baliwasan area
• Willing to work 6 days including weekends and holidays; day off on a weekday
• Food Safety / Sanitation training is a strong plus; barista skills a plus

WHAT WE OFFER

• ₱18,000 – ₱20,000 monthly depending on experience
