Job summary

Rufer International LLC is opening a new healthy food concept in Zamboanga City. The role combines barista and cashier duties, with rotation between stations to learn bowls, shakes, juices, and the POS system.

Employees start with paid training before opening, earn ₱12,500–₱14,000 monthly with benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and 13th month pay) and a clear path to Senior Barista; weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a café, milk tea shop, fast food, restaurant or retail is preferred; motivated beginners welcome.
• Honest with money; friendly and clear with customers in English, Filipino and Chavacano.
• Fast hands, clean habits, eye for presentation.
• Can stand a full shift and lift up to 15 kg.
• Willing to rotate stations daily and to work 6 days including weekends and holidays.

ABOUT US

We are a new healthy food concept opening soon in Zamboanga City — a modern 2-story store serving fresh bowls, smoothies, juices and coffee, takeaway style. The brand name will be announced at opening; applicants who join the team will be the first to know. We are a small opening team of 5. The owners are based abroad and come to Zamboanga every 2 months to train the team and work alongside you. Between visits, the store is run by the Store Supervisor and the team, with daily online reporting to the owners. That means: we hire people we can trust, we pay above minimum wage, and everyone gets real responsibility from day one. Working schedule: 6 days per week, one long shift with staggered start times (approx. 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM), 1 fixed day off per week. Weekends and holidays are working days in F&B.

THE ROLE — BARISTA & CASHIER CREW (2 positions)

In a team of 5, nobody does only one thing. You will be trained on both stations and rotate between them: making bowls, shakes and juices on the bar, and taking orders and payments at the counter. If you only want to sit at a cash register or only want to be a barista, this is not the job for you. If you like variety and want to learn everything, it is.

WHAT YOU WILL DO — BAR

• Prepare bowls, smoothies, shakes and juices by recipe with correct portions and presentation
• Prep fruit and toppings; label and date containers
• Keep blenders, tools and work station clean all day
• Learn basic espresso drinks (training provided)

WHAT YOU WILL DO — COUNTER

• Greet customers, explain the menu, recommend combos and the loyalty program
• Take orders on the POS; handle cash, GCash, Maya and card payments accurately
• Manage Grab / foodpanda orders and hand over to riders
• Check every order is complete before it goes out
• Keep counter, display, tables and both floors tidy; restock cups, lids, straws, packaging
• Count your drawer with the Supervisor at end of shift — every peso must match
