Job summary

Rufer International LLC in Zamboanga City is opening a health-focused food concept and needs a Kitchen Helper/Utility Crew member. You’ll keep the store clean, stocked, and ready, ensuring health inspections pass and the team works efficiently.

The role is physical, involves early starts, and requires six-day weeks with weekends/holidays. Training is provided, with potential for advancement to Barista & Cashier Crew.

Qualifications

• Hardworking, clean and reliable — shows up on time every day.
• Physically fit: standing for long hours, lifting up to 20 kg, handling water and ice.
• Willing to start early (before opening) and work 6 days including weekends and holidays.
• Kitchen, canteen or restaurant experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel and cut fruit; portion toppings; prepare containers for the day — every morning before opening
• Wash blenders, pitchers, utensils and equipment quickly and hygienically all day long
• Clean floors, counters, sinks, restrooms and dining areas on both floors following the daily cleaning checklist
• Take out trash, manage waste log and recycling
• Receive and store deliveries; keep fridge, freezer and dry storage organized (FIFO, labels, dates)
• Refill ice, toppings and packaging for the bar during peak
• Help the crew wherever needed; learn basic bar tasks over time

ABOUT US

We are a new healthy food concept opening soon in Zamboanga City — a modern 2-story store serving fresh bowls, smoothies, juices and coffee, takeaway style. The brand name will be announced at opening; applicants who join the team will be the first to know.

We are a small opening team of 5. The owners are based abroad and come to Zamboanga every 2 months to train the team and work alongside you. Between visits, the store is run by the Store Supervisor and the team, with daily online reporting to the owners. That means: we hire people we can trust, we pay above minimum wage, and everyone gets real responsibility from day one.

Working schedule: 6 days per week, one long shift with staggered start times (approx. 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM), 1 fixed day off per week. Weekends and holidays are working days in F&B.

THE ROLE — KITCHEN HELPER / UTILITY CREW

You keep the store clean, stocked and ready. In a fresh-fruit business, this job decides whether we pass health inspections and whether the crew can work fast. It is physical work, and it matters.

WHAT WE OFFER

• ₱12,000 – ₱12,500 monthly
