Job summary

ROBINSON DINING PTE. LTD. in the Philippines is seeking a friendly Front of House receptionist to greet guests, manage reservations and ensure smooth desk operations.

You will be the first point of contact and coordinate with the service team to seat guests efficiently. The role requires clear English and Mandarin communication, a presentable appearance, and the ability to handle shifts, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as a restaurant receptionist or FOH preferred.
• Experience in a Chinese restaurant or F&B setting is an advantage.
• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin with guests.
• Friendly, presentable and service-oriented.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage reservations and guest requests efficiently.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

About the role

You will be the first point of contact for guests and will be responsible for welcoming customers, managing reservations and ensuring smooth front desk operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
• Manage restaurant reservations and table arrangements
• Answer phone calls and respond to reservation enquiries
• Guide and welcome guests to their tables
• Coordinate with the service team on table availability and guest arrangements
• Maintain accurate reservation and guest information
• Assist with VIP guests, private room bookings and special requests
• Provide professional and attentive customer service
• Support general Front of House operations when required
• Handle other relevant ad-hoc duties assigned by management

About you

• Previous experience as a restaurant receptionist, host/hostess or in a Front of House role is preferred
• Experience in a Chinese restaurant or similar F&B environment is an advantage
• Able to communicate effectively as the role involves regular communication with both English- and Mandarin-speaking guests
• Friendly, well-presented and service-oriented
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised and able to manage reservations and guest requests efficiently
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
