Job summary

foodpanda, part of Delivery Hero, is seeking a Business Development Executive in Laguna, Philippines. You will acquire new restaurants, exhaust leads, and close contracts through fieldwork, cold calls, and presentations.

You will present packages to vendors, collaborate across departments for incubation success, and aim to exceed sales targets while contributing to market growth. Local market knowledge is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, mass communication or related field.
• 1–2 years sales/business development experience, preferably field sales.
• Understanding of Sales Pipeline Management.
• Strong communication skills; able to speak English and Filipino.
• Willing to do extensive fieldwork in Laguna (Calamba/Cabuyao).
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM is an advantage.
• Self-motivated team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new restaurants to partner with foodpanda.
• Exhaust leads and close deals via cold calling, fieldwork, and virtual presentations.
• Present foodpanda packages to potential vendors effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments for vendor incubation success.
• Exceed sales goals and contribute to growth with incentives.
• Represent the company locally, monitor competitors and market share.
• Gather feedback from partner restaurants to advise management.
