Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor/Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent food and beverage service, guest satisfaction, and efficient manpower utilization.

You will coordinate with the kitchen and other departments, monitor costs and inventory, prepare staff schedules, train and coach employees, and uphold hotel service standards and HACCP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• 2-5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in restaurant or hotel F&B operations.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and F&B operations.
• Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards is an advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory, cost control, sales monitoring, and basic financial reporting.
• Familiarity with POS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational concerns effectively.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise, lead, and motivate restaurant staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower coverage during peak hours.
• Train, coach, and evaluate employees to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure proper implementation of hotel and restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, portion control, and service consistency.
• Handle guest concerns, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Monitor restaurant sales, cash handling, daily reports, and shift reconciliation.
• Assist in controlling food, beverage, labor, and operating costs.
