Job summary

S&R Membership Shopping in Manila is seeking a capable supervisor to oversee daily production planning, inventory control, and team leadership within the food service area.

The role focuses on maintaining product quality and safety, coordinating schedules, training staff, monitoring budgets, and ensuring efficient operations to meet daily and monthly targets. This position requires flexible hours and hands-on leadership to support both full-time and part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or food service operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory management, and food safety standards.
• Will report to MAHI Center, SM Consolacion & Taft Eastgate.

Responsibilities

• Prepares production plan on a daily and monthly basis.
• Prepares weekly order for frozen and dry items.
• Ensures stocks in good condition and good quality.
• Checks sell by or expiration dates and quality of products being displayed.
• Monitors the actual inventory of all stocks and checks the shopping list and compare the ledger item from the actual count of stocks.
• Monitors daily supply of items to be able to complete the display and maintain the target gross margin.
• Ensures proper usage of machines by Food Service staff and compliance with safety.
• Submit monthly, weekly, and daily reports (sales, gross margin, penetration, throwaway, movement).
• Monitors consumption of supplies and proper ordering using the shopping list.
• Maintains cleaning procedures in all areas.
• Leads, motivates, trains, and schedules staff; develops subordinates' skills.
• Observes grooming and uniform standards; trains subordinates.
