Job summary

S&R Membership Shopping in Pasay, Metro Manila, invites applications for a supervisory role in restaurant/food service operations. The position focuses on production planning, inventory control, staff leadership, and ensuring quality and safety standards across daily activities.

You will prepare daily and monthly production plans, monitor stock and expirations, lead training, and assist with budgeting and cost control while supporting nontraditional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience in restaurant or food service operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory management, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares production plan on a daily and monthly basis.
• Prepares weekly order for frozen and dry items.
• Ensures stocks in good condition and good quality.
• Checks sell by or expiration dates and quality of products being displayed.
• Monitors the actual inventory of all stocks and checks the shopping list and compare the ledger item from the actual count of stocks.
• Monitors daily supply of items to be able to complete the display and maintain the target gross margin.
• Ensures proper usage of machine (Pizza Maker) by Food Service personnel at all times.
• Submits monthly report (sales, gross margin, penetration), weekly and monthly throwaway and daily movement reports to the Other Business Unit.
• Monitors proper usage and consumption of supplies and proper ordering of all supplies using the shopping list.
• Ensures proper cleaning procedures in all areas.
• Leads, motivates, teaches, and challenges subordinates; schedules work hours; promotes skills development.
• Observes grooming standards and wearing of company uniform; punctuality; training including skills development.
• Assists Supervisor with hiring, training, motivating, and disciplining staff.
• Oversees day-to-day operations in the absence of Supervisor.
• Assists in developing a budget for the operation; takes corrective action as directed.
• Ensure health, safety, sanitation, and maintenance standards are met.
• Supervise preparation of products to meet daily requirements; minimize waste.
• Assists with staff scheduling, inventory control, cash controls and security.
• Work in nontraditional hours and flexible schedules.
