TOKAGAWA GLOBAL CORPORATION is seeking a Restaurant Manager in the Philippines to oversee daily restaurant operations and lead a busy team to deliver excellent guest experiences. The role emphasizes maintaining standards, cost control, and coordinating between dining, kitchen, and cashiers to optimize service quality.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in restaurant operations with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and fluency in English and Filipino.
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring that guests receive excellent food, service, and overall dining experience. The manager will lead the restaurant team, maintain operational standards, control costs, and help improve sales and profitability.
Oversee the daily opening, operating, and closing procedures of the restaurant
Ensure smooth coordination between the dining area, kitchen, cashier, and other departments
Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service
Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate restaurant employees
Conduct staff briefings before each shift and communicate daily targets, promotions, and concerns
Welcome guests and ensure they receive friendly and attentive service
Handle customer complaints and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
Monitor daily sales, expenses, discounts, voids, refunds, and cash collections
Control food costs, labor costs, utilities, and other operating expenses
Ensure compliance with company policies, permits, licenses, labor requirements, and government regulations
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related course is preferred
At least 3 years of restaurant operations experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial position
Experience in a Chinese restaurant, full-service restaurant, banquet operation, or casual dining establishment is an advantage
Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory management, cost control, and food safety
Familiarity with POS systems, sales reports, staff scheduling, and basic Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications
Willing to work on weekends, holidays, evenings, and extended hours when necessary
Able to communicate effectively in English and Filipino
