A Restaurant Operations Audit Officer ensures branches comply with company standards, food safety laws, and profitability guidelines. They monitor inventory, evaluate customer service, and report operational bottlenecks to uphold brand consistency.
Quality & Food Safety Assurance: Conduct regular onsite and digital/online audits to ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and hygiene standards.
Inventory & Cost Control: Audit stock levels, investigate inventory variances, and monitor food costs and waste patterns to minimize loss.
Operational Compliance: Evaluate opening/closing procedures, daily prep execution, and general adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Financial & Cash Management: Verify cash controls, discount applications, void/refund exceptions, etc.
Reporting & Action Plans: Document findings and prepare weekly or monthly reports, outlining noncompliance issues and actionable steps for Operations leaders.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with Operations and Training departments to resolve operational bottlenecks, coach team members, and roll out new company initiatives.
