• Checks and ensures the readiness of hot dishes for service during peak hours.
• Monitors equipment used in the hot station and reports any maintenance needs promptly.

HOT STATION HEAD

Job Description

• Oversees the preparation and cooking of all hot dishes in the kitchen, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation.
• Supervises and coordinates daily operations in the hot station, including assigning tasks to cooks and kitchen staff.
• Ensures food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed in the preparation and handling of hot food.
• Collaborates with the Kitchen Supervisor and Executive Chef to maintain inventory, monitor food costs, and control wastage.
• Trains and mentors hot station staff to maintain high standards of performance and efficiency.
• Checks and ensures the readiness of hot dishes for service during peak hours.
• Monitors equipment used in the hot station and reports any maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications

• College level (preferably in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field)
• Proven experience in kitchen operations, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards
• Ability to oversee kitchen staff, enforce SOPs, and maintain food quality consistency
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to fulfill production schedules
• Strong attention to detail in food safety, sanitation, and equipment maintenance
• Ability to train and coach kitchen staff while ensuring compliance with company policies
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Willing to be assigned at PACE VALLEY SUDLON LAHUG, CEBU CITY
