Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement Safety programs.

Position: Safety Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares, promotes and initiates Safety programs.
• Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
• Standardize health and safety in order to remain consistent.
• Organize and maintain all safety and compliance-related forms.
• Facilitates government compliance & requirements such as DOLE, DENR,BFP, etc.
• Prepares and investigates incident/accident related cases for DOLE-WAIR compliance.
• Perform regular inspections, evaluations, and/or walk-throughs of facilities and/or properties.
• Promote and reinforce safe behaviors across the business unit and work sites.
• Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques and regular inspection of equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering or any course.
• Has at least 2-3 years of experience in Safety Office.
• Knowledgeable in Labor and OSHC Standards.
• With BOSH Training Certificate (40 hrs).
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
• Strong communication skills.
• Preferably with motorcycle and willing to travel.
