Position

PURCHASING CLERK

The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for sourcing, canvassing, and purchasing items needed by the company while ensuring quality and cost efficiency. The role includes preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate or undergraduate of any business-related course (or equivalent).
• Experience in purchasing or related work is an advantage.
• Basic skills in sourcing, canvassing, and negotiating with suppliers.
• Organized and detail-oriented with good record-keeping skills.
• Can communicate and coordinate well with suppliers and team members.
• Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Willing to do other tasks assigned by the immediate superior.
