Healthway Hospital Fairview Inc. (FEU-NRMF Medical Center) in Quezon City is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to support pulmonary diagnostics, therapy, and critical care across in-patient units.

You will perform ABG punctures, manage ventilators, administer respiratory therapies, and assist in bronchoscopy, working closely with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• BSRT graduate.
• PRC-registered respiratory therapist with valid license.
• Knowledgeable in diagnostics, ventilation, and pulmonary therapies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform ABG punctures, analyze results, and assist physicians in pulmonary assessment and diagnosis.
• Conduct pulmonary function tests and respiratory maneuver procedures with accurate documentation.
• Administer oxygen and chest therapies and manage respiratory procedures.
• Set up and monitor ventilators, including weaning and adjustments.
• Provide basic life support and CPR when needed.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as analyzers and monitors.
• Assist in bronchoscopy and extubation while educating patients.

Job Description

• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) punctures, analyze results, and assist physicians in pulmonary assessment and diagnosis.

• Conduct pulmonary function tests and peak expiratory flow maneuvers, ensuring accurate interpretation and documentation of results.

• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene therapy, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and other respiratory therapeutic procedures.

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and monitor mechanical ventilators, including ventilator adjustments and weaning procedures.

• Provide basic life support and artificial ventilation techniques and actively participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) efforts.

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain respiratory equipment such as blood gas analyzers, pulmonary function machines, and pulse oximeters.

• Assist pulmonologists and physicians during bronchoscopy and extubation procedures, while educating patients on respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (BSRT) graduate.

• PRC Registered Respiratory Therapist with a valid license.

• Knowledgeable in respiratory diagnostics, mechanical ventilation, and pulmonary therapeutic procedures.

• With good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a healthcare team.
