Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy / Respiratory Care.
• Valid Respiratory Therapist Professional License (or scheduled/pending board exam results).

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical evaluations, collect and analyze arterial blood gas (ABG) samples, and execute physician-prescribed respiratory care plans.
• Assist with the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of mechanical ventilators (invasive and non-invasive like BiPAP/CPAP) and artificial airways.
• Administer prescribed aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and airway clearance techniques.
• Perform basic pulmonary function tests (PFTs), pulse oximetry, and bedside diagnostic procedures.
• Participate as an active member of the Code Blue / Rapid Response team under senior clinical supervision.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and instruct patients on inhaler usage, breathing exercises, and home care.

About the role

The Respiratory Therapist evaluates, treats, and manages patients with cardiopulmonary disorders under physician guidance. New graduates will receive comprehensive orientation, mentorship, and clinical hands-on training across all unit assignments (ICU, ER, General Wards).
