The Research and Development Specialist
is responsible for conducting research, testing, developing and improving products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Operations to ensure that new products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and market demands. He also serves as the company’s Pollution Control Officer which spearheads, implements, and maintains the order in accumulation, storage, and disposal of wastes in different categories to comply to mandated legalities.
Requirements
- Education: Completed Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Preferably Licensed Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in food and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing, industry research and development (R&D), and academic laboratories.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in standard laboratory practices and procedures; Familiarity with research methodologies, chemical analysis techniques, and process development.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities for interpreting data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions.
- Research Skills: Strong research skills to support the development of new products and improvement of the current product line.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to Details: High level of attention to details, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data handling.
