D&V Philippines Outsourcing, Inc. is seeking a Report Analyst – Merchandise Commercial Strategy Support (AU). The role is hybrid in the Philippines with a Monday–Friday schedule and early morning hours.
You will handle budgeting, forecasting, ROI analyses, and pricing strategies while ensuring data integrity across product and pricing platforms. Responsibilities include building dashboards, supporting S&OP initiatives, and driving commercial insights.

Financial Planning, Analysis & ROI Measurement:
Help prepare annual budgets and forecasts across categories by compiling and analysing financial data, including working capital inputs.
Support the integration of category, retail, and marketing data to assess and communicate financial performance.
Provide data and analysis to support capital allocation decisions and the ROI assessment of commercial initiatives against budget and ROC targets.
Competitive Promotional, Pricing & Margin Strategy:
Assist the Commercial Business Partner in overseeing pricing strategies and promotional planning by taking full ownership of end-to-end promotion planning including building and maintaining the promotional calendar, completing marketing deliverables on time, and helping to execute pricing strategies for marketing campaigns across various channels.
Assist in pricing analysis to support the development of pricing strategies. This entails collecting and summarising market data, competitive pricing, and internal performance for Commercial Business Partner’s review.
Take full ownership of maintaining the accuracy and integrity of product and pricing data across various platforms, ensuring product and category metrics are kept up to date.
Provide analysis on promotional activities and campaigns (sales lift, margin impact, customer response) to assist the Commercial Business Partner to evaluate their effectiveness and contribution to overall category performance.
Track and report on promotional performance (including ROI), assisting with identifying areas for optimisation and learnings to embed into future plans.
Strategic Projects & Commercial Advisory:
Provide data and analysis to support the Commercial Business Partner's recommendations to the GM of Merchandise, Buyers, Planners, and Marketers.
Assist Commercial Business Partner’s in strategic projects like Supplier Optimisation, Forecasting & Margin Improvement, Product Range Efficiency & Productivity Improvement, and Working Capital Optimisation.
Provide reporting on product and category metrics to support range reviews, seasonal planning, and Product Range Efficiency initiatives.
Support the implementation of S&OP and planning tools (e.g. Slimstock) by providing reporting that tracks alignment between planning outputs and business execution.
Reporting and Insights Optimisation:
Perform data cleansing and proactively identify and propose process improvements within merchandising functions.
Take full ownership of develop, maintain and improve on detailed financial reports and insights that inform business strategies and support key decision-making processes.
Support the business-wide reporting framework by ensuring consistency, accuracy, and data integrity across all reports produced for the Merchandise team.
Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools (e.g. BI tools) that automate reporting, improve visibility, and help the business move from reactive to predictive analysis.
Non-negotiable Qualifications:
Industry Exposure: Retail Industry
Technical Skills: Advance skill in Microsoft application such as Excel.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
5+ years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
Understanding procurement processes, budgeting, and market analysis.
Proficiency in procurement software.
High attention to details.
