Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Repairs & Maintenance Specialist to oversee end-to-end maintenance across multiple sites in the Philippines, with a focus on STP/WTP systems and contractor management. The role requires strong English communication and a proactive, safety-minded approach.

The position is onsite with a shifting schedule and opportunities for career growth within a global offshore services provider.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in high-volume, multi-site maintenance management.
• Experience working with Australian contractors and SLAs.
• Ability to analyse technical reports and pricing structures.
• Strong communication and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end work order process including prioritization and follow-up.
• Oversee STP and WTP maintenance and water quality compliance.
• Review contractor quotes and invoices to align with budgets.
• Drive contractor performance using KPIs and site attendance.
• Ensure works comply with WPCG standards in hazardous areas.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities using CMMS data.
• Maintain on-call after-hours availability for critical issues.

Your Role

As a Repairs & Maintenance Specialist, you will:

• Manage the end-to-end work order process, including prioritization, contractor selection, and job follow-up.
• Oversee STP and WTP maintenance, ensuring water quality, testing, and irrigation systems meet strict standards.
• Review and approve contractor quotes and invoices to ensure alignment with business expectations and budgets.
• Drive contractor performance through rigorous management of KPIs, site attendance, and quality of workmanship.
• Ensure all works comply with industry regulations and Workplace Clearance Group (WPCG) standards in hazardous areas.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities by leveraging CMMS data and implementing proactive maintenance strategies.
• Maintain availability for an "On-Call" after-hours roster to respond to critical operational issues.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in high-volume, multi-site maintenance management.

• Deep technical expertise in plumbing, drainage, and water treatment systems (STP/WTP).
• Proven capability in managing Australian contractors and enforcing service-level obligations.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze complex technical reports and pricing structures.
• Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders.
• Excellent English communication skills for professional engagement with Australian stakeholders and technicians.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Prior experience in the petroleum and convenience (P&C) industry or high-risk safety environments.
• Knowledge of cross-functional maintenance categories such as HVAC, Electrical, or Fuel Systems.
• Experience developing project plans and implementing system-wide SOP improvements.
• Background in managing geographically dispersed portfolios across multiple Australian states.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on risk-based decision-making under pressure.
