Job summary

Bureau Veritas Philippines seeks a highly organized Project Management Officer to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of renewable energy projects. The PMO will help ensure projects run on schedule, within budget, and meet client requirements and company standards.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years of PMO experience, exposure to Solar PV, Wind, and BESS, and strong coordination, scheduling, and governance skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
• PM certifications (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• 5–8 years of experience in PMO, project coordination, project controls, or project administration.
• Experience supporting renewable energy, power, engineering consultancy, or technical services projects.
• Exposure to: Solar PV Projects, Wind Energy Projects, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Generation and Transmission Projects, Owners Engineering and Technical Advisory Services.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, timelines, and deliverables across multiple projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, action trackers, and milestone reports.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential schedule or resource conflicts.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc project status reports.
• Track project KPIs, milestones, budgets, and resource utilization.
• Monitor project performance against approved plans and schedules.
• Provide management with timely updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal departments.
• Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
• Ensure action items and project deliverables are monitored and closed out.
• Support communication between project stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Maintain project documentation, records, contracts, correspondence, and project files.
• Ensure proper document control and version management.
• Support project audits and compliance reviews.
• Develop and maintain project management templates, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts.
• Track manpower allocation and resource utilization across projects.
• Support cost control initiatives and project performance reviews.
• Assist Project Managers in preparing project forecasts and management reports.
