Job summary

Envision Energy seeks a Permitting & Compliance Officer to manage and coordinate permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements across pre-development and development stages of renewable energy projects in the Philippines.

You will collaborate with DOE, DENR, LGUs, landowners, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely submissions, compliance, and risk management, while maintaining a comprehensive permits matrix and tracking timelines for project readiness.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in permitting, regulatory affairs, environmental compliance, or related fields.
• Experience in renewable energy, power or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Experience with Philippines government agencies (DOE, DENR, LGUs, NCIP, etc.) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall permitting strategy and permitting roadmap for renewable energy projects.
• Identify all permits, licenses, clearances, certificates, endorsements, registrations, and approvals required for project development.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed Permitting and Compliance Matrix, including issuing agency, requirements, target dates, status, and renewal needs.
• Coordinate and facilitate applications, consultations, inspections, and follow-ups with DOE, DENR, LGUs, and other agencies.
• Support permitting and regulatory requirements including ECC, CNC, EIA, and related environmental documentation.
• Monitor permit validity, renewal dates, conditions, reporting obligations, and compliance deadlines.
• Coordinate land-use classifications, zoning, land conversion/reclassification, and related land requirements.
• Maintain environmental permitting records and ensure proper documentation and reporting to management.
