Job summary

NES Fircroft seeks a Regulatory Compliance Officer in Makati to secure, maintain, and renew government permits for renewable energy projects. You will coordinate with DOE, DENR-EMB, ERC, NGCP, LGUs, and NCIP, manage schedules, and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, interagency collaboration, and the ability to handle complex permitting workstreams while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in environmental field.
• J.D. or law studies is a plus.
• 3+ years in permitting/regulatory compliance, preferably energy/infrastructure.
• Experience with DOE, DENR-EMB, ERC, NGCP, LGU, NCIP.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end permitting for renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate ECC, EIA, and annual environmental reports.
• Maintain permit calendars; plan renewals ahead of expiry.
• Ensure compliance with DOE issuances and regulatory updates.
• Prepare regulatory reports and agency correspondences; liaise with Legal.
• Support lender documentation and ESG reporting.
