Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Tax Preparer / Project Manager based in the Philippines to lead U.S. tax preparation work and coordinate with U.S.-based CPAs. The role requires deep knowledge of tax workpapers, depreciation, and strong communication skills.

Fully remote with opportunities for growth in a supportive U.S.-based firm. You will own the end-to-end pre-tax process, review documents, organize files, input data into CCH Axcess Tax, and collaborate with Philippine bookkeepers to ensure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of U.S. tax preparation experience.
• CPA license prioritized (not required).
• Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and CCH Fixed Assets.
• Familiar with SmartVault and Karbon.
• QuickBooks Online and/or Xero proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of tax workpapers and depreciation.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• Reliable internet and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Own the pre-tax preparation process end-to-end.
• Review tax documents and organize client files.
• Prepare tax workpapers and data entries in CCH Axcess Tax.
• Coordinate with PH-based bookkeepers and review schedules.
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure all supporting schedules are complete for CPA review.
