Qualifications

• 1+ year of accounting experience
• Bank reconciliations, financial statements, journal entries, and basic accounting processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work accurately under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete monthly financial statements for up to 30+ properties by established deadlines.
• Reconcile multiple monthly bank statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and prepare financial summaries.
• Monitor bank balances and identify funding requirements or potential account issues.
• Process investment requests and bank transfers.
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
• Create and maintain budget templates for assigned properties.
• Update annual, mid-year, and phased budgets as required.
• Maintain organized electronic files and accounting records for assigned properties.
• Follow established accounting procedures and internal processes.
• Provide accounting support to the Property Management Team.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Respond to emails and phone calls within service-level expectations.
• Attend required meetings and training sessions.
• Complete special projects and other accounting tasks as assigned.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
