SmartScale360 is seeking an experienced US Bookkeeper to support U.S.-based franchise businesses from a remote Philippines-based role. You’ll maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online, process transactions, and handle payroll entries along with month-end closes and financial reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of U.S. bookkeeping experience, strong QBO skills, and a detail-oriented, independent work style.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years bookkeeping experience supporting U.S. businesses (franchise accounting a plus).
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of P&L reporting, general ledger, and bookkeeping best practices.
• Familiarity with compliance docs, audits, or tax prep support.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and organized.
• Strong English communication (written and verbal).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Experience supporting franchise or multi-location businesses is a plus.
• Familiarity with ServiceMinder or similar field service software is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Maintain bookkeeping records using QuickBooks Online for multiple U.S.-based franchise businesses.
• Process and reconcile financial transactions (bank deposits, feeds, accounts, cards, loans).
• Record payroll journal entries from third-party providers.
• Prepare recurring journal entries for commissions, COGS, royalties, advertising, depreciation, interest, and other month-end adjustments.
• Support the month-end close and ensure records are accurate and complete.
• Generate P&L reports and assist with financial reporting and profitability tracking.
• Communicate with franchise owners regarding bookkeeping and financial records.
• Assist with compliance documentation, audits, or tax preparation support.
• Coordinate vendor purchases and monitor orders for job materials and supplies.
• Provide administrative and operational support as needed.
