KTB Services LLC is looking for an experienced, versatile, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant (Bookkeeper) to join our growing team in the Philippines.
We are a U.S.-based accounting and tax advisory firm serving clients across the United States. This role handles day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for a small portfolio of clients and requires someone comfortable moving across several engagements, industries, and account types without losing accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, including transaction categorization, bank and credit card reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare month-end close workpapers and support the accounting team in meeting close deadlines
- Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for review
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, bill pay, and collections follow-up as needed
- Reconcile Bill.com and/or Ramp activity to the general ledger, as needed by client
- Post payroll journal entries from providers such as Paycor, Paychex, Gusto, and ADP, including allocation by department when needed
- File sales tax and property tax returns for a small number of clients as assigned
- Perform bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up work for clients who are behind or need historical records corrected
- Identify discrepancies, unusual transactions, or errors and flag them proactively rather than waiting to be asked
- Follow and help refine internal checklists, workflows, and standard operating procedures
- Adapt quickly across different clients, industries, and chart-of-accounts structures within the same day
- Communicate clearly with the Controller and team members on outstanding items and blockers
- Support special projects such as cleanups, catch-up bookkeeping, and system migrations as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience in full-cycle bookkeeping and general ledger accounting
- Solid understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and standard month-end close procedures
- Versatility — comfortable handling several clients and industries with minimal ramp-up time, and working across a mix of different accounting and finance software
- Comfortable reconciling Bill.com and Ramp accounts if a client requires it
- Familiarity with posting payroll journal entries from multiple providers (Paycor, Paychex, Gusto, ADP, or similar)
- Comfortable preparing and filing sales tax and/or property tax returns for a limited number of clients
- Experience with bookkeeping cleanup and catch-up projects
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through on assigned tasks
- Good written and spoken English for internal communication and occasional client-facing correspondence
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and cloud-based accounting systems
- Ability to follow documented procedures precisely while flagging opportunities for improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with a U.S. accounting or CPA firm
- Knowledge of U.S. accounting and bookkeeping standards
- Exposure to U.S. payroll, sales tax, or property tax processes
- Experience with Karbon and similar workflow platforms
Schedule:
This position supports the U.S. market, so candidates must be willing to work hours that provide meaningful overlap with the U.S. Eastern Time Zone.
