Job summary

ConnectOS is hiring a US Accounting Specialist (WFH) to support client accounting and bookkeeping for multiple US-based clients from a remote setup in the Philippines.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of US bookkeeping experience, strong QuickBooks skills, and excellent communication and time-management abilities. This role offers a stable remote work environment with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of U.S. bookkeeping or US Accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop.
• Strong bookkeeping and transactional accounting knowledge.
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, AR, and financial reporting.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues independently.
• Knowledge of U.S. accounting practices and tax requirements.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly bookkeeping and accounting services for assigned clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client financial records.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Review activity and balances for accuracy.
• Assist with correcting issues and historical discrepancies.
• Support QuickBooks Online/Desktop accounting activities.
• Prepare supporting documentation for client work and communicate with clients.
