BruntWork is seeking a detail-oriented US Accountant (NetSuite) to manage US GAAP-based general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end closings for multiple clients from a remote setting. The role requires hands-on NetSuite experience and strong analytical skills to support financial reporting and process improvements.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in US accounting, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience required, including 2+ years in US accounting.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closings for multiple small business clients.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.
• Utilize NetSuite for accounting operations, reporting, and process improvements.
• Handle tax preparation and filing; ensure compliance and assist with audits as needed.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial workflows.
• Provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.
