Karbon is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join a remote Finance team supporting a global organization. You will contribute to the month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and internal controls while partnering across the business.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, familiarity with NetSuite is a plus, and strong communication. This remote role is open to residents of Cebu or Manila with competitive compensation and benefits.

• Knowledge and experience with NetSuite a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations and report on cash activity and other metrics to Accounting and Finance leaders.
• Process accounts payable vendor invoices and appropriately code and enter them into the accounting system.
• Manage new vendor onboarding and be the primary point of contact for our Company’s vendors.
• Evaluate and identify ways to continuously improve the monthly accounting close process through various system and process enhancements.
• Review monthly credit card statements and prepare associated journal entries.
• Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with the business travel and expense policies.
• Assist with the preparation of documentation and support for external financial statement audits and tax compliance.
• Establish and drive business process and financial system improvements that will enable more efficient financial operations and collaboration within the Company.
• Support and help maintain strong internal control policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help with ad-hoc projects as required.
