Job summary

Re-assist Virtual Assistance Services seeks a numbers-driven Trust Accountant to manage Australian real estate trust accounting. This remote role offers the flexibility to work from a home office while maintaining flawless financial records for a growing client base.

You will handle trust account operations, reconciliations, and payroll workflows, ensuring GST/BAS compliance and timely EOFY processing. Prior AU real estate experience is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Australian Real Estate Trust Accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GST, BAS, EOFY, disbursements and bond lodgements.
• Experience in mid-level general bookkeeping and payroll workflows.

Responsibilities

• Trust account operations: tenant receipting, landlord payouts, EFT, direct debits, bond transactions.
• Conduct daily and monthly trust reconciliations and deliver weekly financial reports to stakeholders.
• Oversee general ledger, assist BAS preparation and EOM/EOFY processing.
• Administer internal payroll workflows and track employee hours.
