Job summary

4impact Philippines is seeking a Senior Test Automation Architect to lead the design and ownership of a shared automation framework for enterprise-scale migration projects.

This role requires deep Java and JUnit 5 expertise, strong framework architecture skills, and mentoring seasoned engineers while ensuring maintainability and smooth handover to client BAU teams. Remote, day-shift, 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Strong Java and JUnit 5 with proven automation framework design.
• Experience with REST-assured, Spring-WS, and WS-Security.
• Kafka with Confluent Schema Registry, WireMock, XMLUnit, Awaitility.
• SQL/NoSQL assertions using JdbcTemplate / MongoTemplate.
• Maven, Docker and GitLab CI; mentoring a small team.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding to accelerate test-scenario generation.
• Allure and JUnit XML reporting with stage rollups in GitLab CI.

Responsibilities

• Architect and own a shared automation framework for enterprise migrations.
• Define automation standards, patterns, and CI branching approach.
• Integrate framework with GitLab pipeline and Allure/JUnit reporting.
• Ensure maintainability and handover to client BAU teams.
• Design test-data setup and run isolation for repeatable CI runs.
• Analyze failures, triage defects vs tests.
• Execute test cases and perform manual checks for non-automatable scenarios.
