Job summary

EPAM Systems in the Philippines seeks an experienced Automation QA Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for web, mobile, and backend APIs. You will translate manual tests into scalable automation scripts and drive CI/CD integration for continuous testing and fast feedback.

Lead the automation strategy, guide the team on best practices, and ensure reliable, scalable test suites across UI and API layers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer, Automated Testing Engineer, or SDET with leadership
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern automation tools
• Experience building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks
• Knowledge of API testing with Postman or REST Assured is a plus
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for web applications, mobile apps, and backend APIs
• Translate manual test cases and user stories into scalable, reliable automation scripts
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and rapid feedback
• Develop automated tests across UI and API/microservices layers
• Monitor test execution, debug failures, and maintain quality dashboards
• Lead automation strategy and guide the team on best practices
