New Era Technology, Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager to coordinate network upgrade projects for a major retail banking client. The role involves managing engineer schedules, delegating tasks, tracking progress, and reporting to clients and management.

You will work remotely with shifting EST hours, bring 5–8 years of technical project management experience, and have IT/network infrastructure knowledge. A bachelor's degree is required; PMP, CCNA, or ITIL credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of proven experience in Technical Project Management.
• Experience managing technical projects in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Background in IT, specifically with wireless and wired networks and infrastructure (infrastructure cabling, racks/cabinets, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software tools
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated leadership and strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a sense of urgency
• Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to track open issues to closure
• PMP, CCNA , ITIL or equivalent knowledge, certifications a plus, but not mandatory
• Financial/banking industry experience a plus, but not mandatory
• Previous as a network engineer a plus, but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources for flawless execution of network upgrades.
• Manage engineer shift schedules, delegate tasks, monitor progress, and prepare end-of-day reports.
• Collaborate with clients and partners to ensure alignment with project objectives and contractual parameters.
• Measure performance using project management tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and refine processes to improve efficiency.
• Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' strengths and experience.
