Job summary

Penbrothers is seeking a Technical Project Manager to independently lead multiple technology projects and coordinate cross-functional teams. You will serve as the bridge between engineers and non-technical clients, ensuring clear scope, requirements, timelines, and budgets across engagements with US-based clients.

This highly autonomous role requires ownership, decision-making, and the ability to adapt to changing client requirements in an agency environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as a Technical Project Manager or IT Project Manager.
• Experience managing software, web, or mobile projects.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication with clients and technical teams.
• Ability to defend project scope and timelines with US clients.
• Experience coordinating technical teams and translating requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage multiple technology projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
• Serve as the primary coordination point between technical teams and non-technical clients, translating technical information into actionable communication.
• Communicate confidently with US-based clients, clearly explaining project status and managing expectations.
• Defend project scope and delivery timelines when changes or priorities arise.
• Provide clear direction to technical teams, ensuring engineers have requirements and context.
• Gather and clarify client requirements with the Technology Director to define engineering needs.
• Support product-related activities, translating business needs into engineering requirements.
• Manage timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and priorities across engagements.
• Identify issues and blockers and propose solutions with minimal senior leadership input.
• Coordinate activities across engineers, clients, and stakeholders to maintain momentum.
• Adapt to different technologies and client requirements quickly.
• Maintain clear project documentation and status updates throughout lifecycle.
