Job summary

SupportYourApp, a global Intelligent Support-as-a-Service leader, seeks a T3 Support Engineer for a fully remote role supporting clients across platforms. You will troubleshoot with back-end, databases, and API teams while maintaining runbooks and KPIs.

You’ll work in a multicultural environment, with excellent English skills and strong SQL, PHP/JS, and cloud knowledge. Remote from EU, with USD compensation and a focus on long-term collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in Technical Support, SRE, or Engineering with strong troubleshooting and code-reading skills.
• Proven customer-facing experience in a technical support role.
• Excellent English skills (C1+).
• Strong SQL skills with production-scale relational databases.
• Familiarity with PHP and/or JavaScript/TypeScript; AWS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues escalated from T1 across backend, DBs, and integrations.
• Reproduce bugs in web admin, mobile apps, and backend APIs.
• Analyze logs, traces, and metrics to identify root causes.
• Query production databases (read-only) to validate data.
• Implement small, low-risk fixes and configuration changes.
• Escalate complex issues to Engineering with clear documentation.
• Track incidents and outages through resolution with monitoring tools.
• Maintain runbooks and knowledge bases to reduce escalations.
• Maintain deep understanding of client solutions and meet KPIs.
