Job summary

Supabase is the Postgres development platform built by developers for developers, offering a complete backend solution. We are seeking Support Engineers to provide world-class developer support for users across the globe. The support team is distributed worldwide and collaborates closely with product engineering and growth teams.

You will handle a range of topics, triage cases, monitor Github channels, and identify tooling improvements, while ensuring timely, clear guidance to users.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience providing developer support to technical customers.
• Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL) with strong query skills.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Skilled in using Linux/Unix operating systems and the command line.
• Experienced working with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• Bonus: experience with React, Vue, Svelte and Node.js.
• Having a degree in Computer Science is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial and timely responses to all support cases across topics (billing, pre-sales, optimization, implementation).
• Triage support cases by directing users to docs, code examples, or escalating to appropriate teams.
• Monitor multiple feedback channels (e.g., GitHub Issues & Discussions).
• Identify opportunities to improve internal tooling for support efficiency.
• Reproduce issues, create test cases, and improve test coverage if you have testing experience.
