Qualifications

• 4+ years accounting experience with month-end close & reconciliations.
• Experience supporting US companies or clients is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP or strong PFRS fundamentals and ability to learn US GAAP quickly.
• Solid accrual accounting fundamentals and strong attention to detail.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience with an accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring and adjusting journal entries, accruals and prepaids with supporting documentation.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts monthly and resolve reconciling items.
• Process vendor bills and customer invoices, track aging, keep subledgers tied to the general ledger.
• Complete assigned close checklist tasks on schedule and flag issues early.
• Assist in preparing financial statement schedules and explaining movements in owned accounts.
• Maintain organized support for audits and tax filings and keep SOPs up to date.
