Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced SREs and incident leaders to help train an AI model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role emphasizes running and reviewing production incidents and ownership of postmortems.

You will craft high-quality technical documents and reports, including blameless postmortems, runbooks, and SLO-related analyses, with flexible, remote work. Start date is ASAP and compensation is $80/hour.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Site Reliability Engineer, Incident Commander, or production/on-call lead.
• Direct ownership of writing or reviewing blameless postmortems and root-cause analyses.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Run and review production incidents to improve reliability and learnings.
• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Produce blameless postmortems, on-call runbooks, severity write-ups, and SLO/error-budget reports.
